Você consome conteúdo 100% em Inglês?
A partir de agora você vai, pelo menos de sábado e domingo!
Hello, good afternoon VPFIer! 🖖😗
There are more than 500 students receiving my daily emails, 500 students 😮 I’m so excited about it… and just yesterday I received 17 replies from students asking me to send more content in English, so I decided that on Saturdays and Sundays I will use my English through the emails, okay? I hope you enjoy it and, of course can understand most part of what I have to say today.
Let’s start talking about FLUENCY! 😉
All the students want to be fluent in English. This is the main goal when we decide to learn a new language.
I’m going to show you some characteristics that I see in the most part of my students who already became fluent, alright?
You, who had started learning English some months ago think that you must master all the grammar rules and learn lots of words to become fluent, don’t you?
I spent my whole life studying, since I was 8 years in 1999 and I was always curious about learning new words, I believe this is an important characteristic of somebody who is willing to become fluent, too.
There are some cases where students learned the language without studying formally, they could learn just listening to songs, playing videogames or even watching series. I’m pretty that what brought the fluency to these students was the curiosity and their willing to really understand and master what they were consuming.
Grammar books or traditional language courses don’t take people to fluency, they almost never do!
One of the biggest mistakes that almost everybody makes is the lack of consistency in the studies. Most part of the students stop studying in the middle of fluency journey, they just give up on their dream of learning the new language just because they imagined it would be easier or faster. 😕
The journey is long, I could use the word: ENDLESS, and believe me when I say that many students aren’t willing to pay the price to become fluent for real, it’s so easy to quit, you need to be resilient, tough, brave and always keep in mind why you started studying.
In the beginning of your studies, everything is awesome, you see your evolution clearly, your motivation is so high that you feel horny to learn new things every day, but after two months or so you start losing this fire.
Keep in mind your reasons, why you started learning English. You must know exactly why and never forget your true reason to learn English.
Today I consider the worst thing about the English courses out there is, that they don’t offer PRACTICING to their students, you don’t have moments of practice inside the class or even outside of it in traditional courses.
I hear frequently students saying that even after years of hard studying, they still don’t feel comfortable to talk to somebody or use their English in easy situations, this is all about the LACK OF PRACTICE, they can have all they need to perform, but without practicing it, it’s all in vain.
Picture this, you can understand much more than you can speak English, right? Why does it happen? Because you spent more time receiving English than creating something in an active way.
Let’s change this today, how about changing it right now?
You’re more than capable to achieve your dream and I am here for you, to help you, to provide great ways of practicing your English from now on!
We are on the same boat, and I promise you that I won’t let you go!
Well, I must go now, my baby is here waiting to play with me!
Have a great one VPFier, tomorrow is Sunday, it is the day when I play soccer and I intend to be back here to talk to you, okay?!
See you tomorrow!
